Gamecube.

FINALLY!!! I bought one. Seriously, I was wondering if I could even buy one, but Marktplaats, a website filled with mostly second-hand products. Only €12.50 I had to spend on it, plus 2 controllers. The gamecube was cheaper than those ahaha. It's going to be really hard though, to find all the games I'm looking for. Maybe EBay wil also help me...

extreme sports

When I was young I always wanted to become a stuntman. All those series on tv, Superman and other heroes inspired me to think so. Even Pokemón did. But I grew up being a casual guy in school, little more agile than the rest. But every night, when I calmed down and fell asleep, I saw myself flying through the sky with a cape, blue this time, not red like Superman. I could ride a motorbike and I was able to float over the ocean as a windglider. All very risky, but a few days ago I saw this video. It kind of surprised me, because it´s all so precise and perfect:

I'm happy for him that he landed in the pool, otherwise it would be a flight to the hospital.
And the next video might be the biggest dream, but I'm not sure I have the balls for it...

NASCAR

When surfing the web I found a video of NASCAR crashes. I looked up what NASCAR was, and I found out that it was really popular in the United States, and that this "sport" is about 60 years old. I also saw that NASCAR is broadcasted in more than 100 countries. I'd never heard of this. This sport is sort of racing with stock cars, but in NASCAR none of them actually are. All are modified, every part has been altered. I mean, this is crazy. Driving around with 43 cars on an oval field of asphalt. There's a very big chance that your car is the one that ends up flying in the air. 200 MPH, very very fast. If you'd do that in Holland you would lose your license and you'll be led before the ministry of Justice muahaa. Here's the video I was talking about:

Happily everyone survived.

Twista

I usually don't like this music, but when I got Twista's album "The Perfect storm (2010)" I knew that there was something else that was nice. Next to Dubstep. I listen to alot of music, but I have to say that many of the numbers on this album are very nice. Beat and lyrics kind of flow together. It's a pity that not the whole album is as nice as this song, I can't embed the original clip, I'm sorry...

3D ^ 2

While watching some videos on Youtube I came across this one. It's about a festival about 3D animations, which look really cool. I'm still wondering how they make videos like Despicable me, or How to train a Dragon. To solve this mystery I asked a friend for a program with which you're able to make things in 3D. His advice was 3DS Max, which he also gave to me. So in the upcoming Christmas vacation I'll be spending most of my free time on this program. Video beneath contains cool stuff. I'd really like to learn how to make it :)

Gold

While I was listening to the track that's right beneath this topic, some inspiration entered through my window and told me not to go to sleep until I wrote a new message here.

On a very young age I was kind of obsessed by metals and magnets. I used to file a bunch of iron nails to get some file-dust. After that put it on a piece of paper, hold a magnet under it and suddenly the fillings were able to walk. Sounds like a cool animation of some kind, actually it was one of my very many little experiments. (others were destroying the radio of my little sister. Yes I'm ashamed, just a little bit :$)

But the metal that attracted me most was gold. But anyway, the symbol is Au, which means something like "aurum - shining dawn" in Latin. Sometimes when I see those pictures of huge bars of gold, it makes my mouth water. Not because it's worth so much (alright, a little bit because of that), but because it shines and reminds me of Super Mario Sunshine. No, joke, but I like this metal very much, no rust when it's exposed to air or water, clear genius. So now I can sleep, inspiration is gone.

Triangulation

If you read this you'd actually think about diving or something - it isn't. :)
When I turned on my computer Facebook popped up, I don't know how, seemed like I set it up that way. I looked around, and saw this artist's music, I really like this one. It sounds like techno and Dubstep combined, I'm wondering how somebody made something as soothing like this. Have been listening to it for a while, and after that I searched for the album online, found it, purchased it and since then I only listened to this album. This song I like the most. No I don't like it, I LOVE IT. If it was a LP it would be grey by now. :)

Paintball

Haha I sure like this "game" especially when your manager wears the pig suit XD
It hurts, yes it does. But in fact it only hurts when the "paintball" doesn't explode. So when one bounced of me, it caused a black-red-blue spot to appear right under my shoulder, and I can guarantee you - I still feel that one! Soon I'll upload some photos, I'll show you all the pain if gone through *snif* Look at 3:57 haha epic.

KFC

Poor chicken, I love you all. When I come near a KFC restaurant, I can't walk by, I have to buy at least a Zingerburger. Most of the time I buy a bucket, rather 45 pieces than 32 :) Sometimes my friend Tony helps, and sometimes my brother. Once, when I sat in the KFC in Rotterdam, I calculated how many chicken died because of KFC Rotterdam Beurs. If everyone would buy a bucket, 18 pieces, let's say thats 8 chickenwings an 10 chickenlegs, so that's 5 chicken per bucket. I asked how many they sold per day. I was shocked. An estimated 150 buckets per day. So that means: 5 x 150 = 750 chicken! Where the hell do they get all the chicken from?? I don't know how many restaurants KFC has worldwide, but that has to be an HUGE load of chicken everyday. Am I right?

Cartman

Fatass. But I still like you, stupid brat. Irritating voice, but I like how serious he can be. In fact, everything about Southpark is nice, good, and even better. I like watching it when I'm bored, and when I start one episode and take a look at my watch, suddenly it's 2 hours later. All because of Cartman, The Coon, who wants to be poor and stupid to become a Nascar driver. I'm wondering where the inspiration comes from. Maybe when they're sitting on the toilet.

Drawing

3 Weeks ago, we heard that our teacher would be absent for a long period, because of a collapsed lung. Poor guy. But I still have to learn how to draw...
So 1 week ago we heard that there would be a replacement, for the remaining four lessons. Well, I can live with that I thought. But today we had this class, and STILL no replacement. Only two classes left in which they MUST learn me how to draw like this:

Simply amazing. Beauty of a drawing, even more beautiful woman.

Vibration

Some men and women really like this. Especially women. This person uses it for something else, but also really likes it. While he or she covers the metal plate, you can see that the sound doesn't affect the sand; it doesn't create a pattern. But when the sound, the frequency turns higher, the sand slowly begins to form patterns. Now how does this work?
It's just a speaker under a metal plate. Just mess around with the frequency and.. violá, there's something happening. The waves that the speaker generates "hit" the sand, causing them to move.

Metal

DUDE! Can somebody explain this to me? Wikipedia tried, and described this material as "ferro-fluid" and, compared to normal metals like iron and nickel "non-crystalline." I looked both words up, and concluded that this magnetic water in fact has no form. You could use this "substance" for so many things, this stuff can't break, it transmits energy, heat, electricity - it even reacts to music! And because it reacts so heavily to magnetic fields, we're able to create funny figures out of it, I don't know where to buy it, otherwise I would've bought a few liters :)

Games

In this world, we have all types of entertainment. Some go out on the beach and play some volleyball, others stay at home and play games. I used to be a mix between the two, but when PSP came with the game Monster Hunter I sort of surrendered to this game. After playing it for a few weeks my PSP said "Screw you!" and died. I didn't stop thinking about it, I was became an addict :) Bought a new PSP and after defeating every boss in the game 5 times or something like that I became clean :), the game wasn't that fun anymore. (There's a new one available for Wii) So I bought Final Fantasy Crisis Core, which I'm still playing. Although I've got to say: This one is WAY harder than MH. Damn you Sephiroth!

When my brother still lived here he had a XBox. And there was this game, Need For Speed Most Wanted. I played it for like 3 years, offline. If I had spent it online I would be number one FO SURE. All cars you are able to create there, really nice game.
Also Fable and Fahrenheit were good RPG's, but by the time he bought a house and leave ours, the XBox left also. So now I'm left with my laptop and PSP. Thank you, we're fine.

But, before I forget it, I'll have to add the best game of all: Super Mario Smash Bros. I don't know how many hours I spent with this game. I always choose Captain Falcon, or Super Mario. Haha I can remember as if it were yesterday, when I turned 14, me and 3 friends were playing this game for 6 straight hours. After that we went to bed for a few hours, and yup, immediately we grabbed a controller and fought like our lives depended on it. Yes, nice times. Old Nintendo 64, a controller that was almost to big for my hands, but nice times.

Ahhh in fact, I can't stop this topic. Zelda the Windwaker, Super Mario Sunshine, I totally forgot the GameCube... those colors, sounds and the whole experience.. This combination was strong enough to fascinate me to deep in the night, until I finally defeated Ganondorf. Sailing the sea, using your grappling hook to lift treasures from the bottom of the sea. Always trying to catch fairies. Yes, I want those times to come back.

I can't sleep so I decided to continue with this one. I was thinking about Super Mario Kart, the one with the balloons on the rear of your kart, for Nintendo 64. I had a good friend, Marnique, and everytime when church closed I went to his house to play that game. sometimes his sister and even his mother were playing to, made it all even better :) Sometimes I choose Bowser, but I've got to say: Toad is my absolute favorite. I don't know, but I kinda like the mushroom on his head, makes him look cute. Bowser, the opposite, could push everybody of the track, so that's why I used him sometimes. All those power ups, little "?" boxes, you'd never know what come out of one. I liked the homing projectile the most, very irritating, but also very useful. I'm wondering why, when I'm trying to fall asleep, I'm thinking about stuff like this. Those golden times need to come back around again! Since it came out on Wii, I'm seriously considering to buy one.

Also Super Mario Sunshine, those colors, on almost every map the sun is shining. Everything in the game looks fine, it's if the world suddenly changed to a better place:) I feel like 12 again, all I need then was water, sand and nice weather - then I was satisfied. I would be completely satisfied if I had a device on my back like Mario :)

German

When I was in middle school I never liked languages. English and German were the worst. I always made my homework, two times a week. But what was worst was the German teacher. She was short, blonde hair and was awfully irritating. When you're homework wasn't finished, you had a 99% chance to get extra homework as punishment. And that was a lot. There are things I like about Germany, Peter Fox:

BMW, Mercedes and Audi are also things I like about Germany. Although I don´t have one of those shiny, beautiful cars, I still like them :), (never say never).

Jep, their cars are real beauties.

Oh and there's something more I like about Germany. The Bundesliga. Here we have the Eredivisie, which you can't compare to the Bundesliga. Maybe FC Twente could manage to go with the teams there.
How easily they combine out there, few ball contacts and the ball is in a few passes on the other side of the pitch. Haha I'd also like to learn that, maybe I should emigrate :) Also during the World Championship against Spain, such a pity they lost that game. I wouldn't say that Germans can play better than us Hollanders, but they are still very good. :)
This was that pitiful moment:(

Social networks.

We all have something in common: we're human. And those creatures really like to communicate, especially my little sister on the phone with her boyfriend. Sometimes really annoying, sometimes it is fun. Ever since social networks became popular, I had a few pages here and there. In Holland we have Hyves, something like Facebook, only rather old. Now there is MySpace, Twitter is coming up, I already mentioned Facebook and even on Youtube.com you are able to create your own space to chat with other people. You can also give ratings to someone's video's, or other content that's displayed on  their page. You can share photo's funny videos you've seen, or events you've been too. You can even invite friends.. there are so many ways, and this all came up in the past 5 years..

Applecake

Don't you like them? The raster pattern on top of it, the warm delicious smell that comes off of it... Sweeet. I like them the most when they're still warm, and in large amounts. I am kinda addicted to them. Maybe that's because my body likes the taste, or maybe because we have a apple tree in the backyard. So if we don't sell those apples, we are better of slicing them and converting them - to apple cakes. :)

Mandala

I see mandala's as a phenomenon. Maybe exaggerated, but some people can make such beautiful forms out of simple grains of sand. Many different colors are used to create a pattern, which represents the Kosmos, the endless space where we as human beings float in.

From simple ones like this:
to totally complex structures like this:

Sometimes when I'm bored, (mostly at school) I draw these pictures. Once my scanners works again I will upload some :)

3D

Since I've initiated to a new study, something about design (I don't precisely know what the study is about), few more interest became clear. One of them is 3D, and this video shows a sort of "flow", I think made in 3DS Max.. I'd like to try this program, but I haven't found it yet.

Soccer

On of the greatest. I don't know how he does it, but he curves the shot in such a nice way... It doesn't matter how many hours I spent on practicing this, it just doesn't work. Maybe I should get left-footed too.

Dubstep

When I stood up this morning, I heard this track, I simply love it. Never heard of this artist, but he's a very talented one. Dubstep has always been one of my favorite music genres, and this track only made that "love" stronger.

Blog

I've got a blog. New day, grey weather, brown dirty snow.
